DAY 270 – BE SPIRITUALLY MINDED

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.  For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
(Romans 8:5-6)

Apart from being dominated by a sinful nature, we can also be dominated by the things of this world, such as; diseases, pain, poverty, lack, failure, confusion, and all kinds of lies from the enemy – which leads to death. 

But, to be spiritually minded is to focus our mind on what Christ has already offered us, which is; righteousness, the forgiveness of sin, healing, prosperity, peace, safety, freedom, victory, wisdom and more.

This way of thinking brings life and perfect peace in this chaotic world. It is possible to live in perfect peace in this world if our mind stays on Jesus and His finished work. Jesus is Lord!

Thanksgiving Prayer 
Dear Heavenly Father, 
Thank You, for the new nature. I have received Your mind and Your life-giving Spirit. I am no longer controlled by a sinful nature. I am no longer under the confusion and the pain of this world. I am forgiven, I am the righteousness of God, I am healed, I walk in perfect peace, prosperity, freedom, wisdom, and victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
