DAY 257 – GOD WANTS TO PROSPER YOU IN ALL THINGS

“The Elder, To the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth: Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” (3 John 1:1-2)
 

It is God’s will to prosper you. John would not pray this kind of prayer if it was not the will of God. According to John’s prayer, we notice that our perfect health and prosperity in all things are tied up to soul prosperity. Our health and our prosperity are on top of God’s agenda.  

“JUST AS” in the original translation means “in proportion to”.  This means we must receive soul prosperity in order to prosper in all other things. Our soul prospers when we receive the full revelation of God’s love in our hearts, and when we put all our trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Prayer
Dear Holy Spirit,
I pray that You may prosper my soul. Give me a full revelation of the Father’s love. Bless my soul with the full understanding of the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, that I may prosper in all things and be in perfect health, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
