DAY 254 – YOU ARE AN OVERCOMER

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” (Ephesians 6:10-11)

As believers we fight against rulers and authorities; the evil forces of fallen angels headed by the devil, who is a vicious fighter.

1 Peter 5:8 says; “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour”.

We must trust God and be vigilant to withstand every evil attack. We fight in the power of the Holy Spirit, knowing that the victory is already ours. We do not fight on the same level as the devil, we fight from above. We fight from a position of victory. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Prayer
Dear Holy Spirit, 
Thank You, for the power I have through You. Take authority over every evil force. I terminate all the attacks from the devil in my life, my health, family, job, and finances. I stand in my position of victory and overcome every evil, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
