DAY 249 – YOU ARE ONE WITH GOD

“Therefore, brethren, we are debtors-not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” (Romans 8:12-14)

When we receive the power of the Holy Spirit, we receive the ability to turn away from sin’s appeal. We start to regard sin as dead and ignore temptation when it comes. All this is possible – only by the grace of the Holy Spirit. 

Romans 6:11 says; “Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord”.

When you receive the Spirit of Jesus, you become alive to God. Your spirit is connected and totally engaged in the world of the Spirit. A person who has entered the realm of God cannot go back to live according to the flesh. The very Spirit of the Father which lives in you has made you victorious. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Prayer 
Thank You, Father, for Your very Spirit and nature. Thank You for this liberating wisdom. I am victorious because Your very Spirit is in me. You are in me and I in You; we are one. I am engaged with the ways of Heaven and not with the things of this world. I am forever grateful. Amen.
