DAY 247 – YOU ARE NO LONGER IN DARKNESS

“This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart;  who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.” (Ephesians 4:17-19)

The way we live and carry ourselves is a reflection of how we think. We have received a new nature and a new way of life through Jesus Christ. Therefore, let us live our lives according to the new nature and not the old nature. Let the world see us and be able to distinguish between believers and unbelievers, because of the way believers live.

Ephesians 5:8 says; “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light”. You are translated from darkness to light, do not go back to the way of darkness, stay in the way of light. The way of light is your way of life. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Prayer 
Dear Holy Spirit, 
Help me to live according to my new nature. Give me the ability to represent Christ in my world. Anoint me to walk like Jesus walked on this earth. I am different and unique, by the grace of God. Amen.
