DAY 245 – YOU ARE ALREADY COVERED BY JESUS

“But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” (Galatians 3:11)

Trying to be right with God by self-effort profits nothing, but rather puts us under the curse of the law. Working hard to do better in the sight of God, to please God or never to sin; may seem to be a good intention but leads to complete failure. 

Apostle Paul reminds us of Habakkuk’s declaration in Habakkuk 2:4; “the just shall live by faith”.

We can break the cycle of failure by trusting God, and by believing in His finished work as provision for our sins, and living each day depending on His grace.

You were not created to fail; you were created for greatness and to reign in this world. Begin to reign in your everyday life, in Jesus’ Name. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Prayer 
Thank You, Jesus, for Your blood. Thank You, for Your finished work on the cross. Today, I stop using my will-power and rest in You. I trust You, Lord, with my life, my future, and my well-being. Amen.
