DAY 232 – THE LOVE WALK

“Again, a new commandment I write to you, which thing is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away, and the true light is already shining. He who says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him. But he who hates his brother, is in darkness and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.” (1 John 2:8-11)


Let us continue to do acts of kindness, because by the path of patience and obedience, we shall enter into the world of perfect love. The outer walk is the best evidence to others and us, that there is an abiding union between Jesus and us. Light involves love; and love, light. When you walk in love you walk in light. Walk in hatred and you will be enveloped in darkness. The love walk is the only evidence that you have seen God, and you know Him.

The Bible says in 1 John 4:7-8; “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love”. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Prayer
 Dear Holy Spirit,
Take me deeper in the message of love. Teach me to walk the love walk. I welcome the Spirit of love in my life, and I overcome all my fears and insecurities. Help me Holy Spirit, to please the Father as I reflect His true nature. Let the light shine in me forever. Holy Spirit remove all my blindness and open my eyes to see others the way the Father sees them. Amen!
