DAY 229 – EMBRACE THE TRUTH ABOUT YOURSELF

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Our problem is not bad behaviour, but rather not knowing our true identity. When you do not realise who you are, you allow your behaviour to tell you who you are. When you understand that you are the righteousness of God, and you believe it; you will see yourself as the righteousness of God and confess it even when you sin – your true identity will overcome bad behaviour. You stop producing bad fruit, and instead start to produce good fruit – after you have embraced the truth about yourself. Jesus is Lord!

Thanksgiving Prayer
Dear Lord,
Thank You, for Your righteousness. The righteousness I received equals Your righteousness. I overcome bad behaviour, every addiction and the cycle of sin in my life, because I am the righteousness of God. I have a new life and I produce fruit after my true identity. I am consecrated for holy use only, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
