DAY 227 – LOVE GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, SOUL, AND MIND
By Pastor Wilberforce Bezudde
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
God loved us, and He gave His only begotten Son – Jesus. We did not love Him, but He loved us, and He gave Himself to us.
Romans chapter 5 says that we were still without strength; we were ungodly, we were sinners and enemies with God when He demonstrated His love and gave His Son Jesus to die for us.
1 John 2:2 says; “And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world”.
This is how much God has loved and given to the whole world, even though some people have not yet believed in Jesus to start walking in the manifestation of total freedom. God does not want us to end only at the level of forgiveness of sins. There is more for us to experience in the new life. There are things God gives to those He Loves, and there are things and experiences He gives only to those that love Him out of the revelation of His love for them.
Romans 8:28 says; “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”.
1 Corinthians 2:9 says; But as it is written: “eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which god has prepared for those who love him.”
There are levels of experiences that no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no heart of any man on this earth has perceived; that God wants to give those who have responded to His love – by loving Him with all their heart, all their soul, and all their mind. Jesus is Lord!
Today’s Prayer
Dear Lord,
Thank You, for washing away all my sins. Thank You for the garment of righteousness. I am the righteousness of God. I have been made perfect and whole again. Dear Holy Spirit take me deeper in the revelation God’s love. Teach me to respond to the unconditional love of the Father. Teach me to love God with all my heart, all my soul and all my mind. Prepare me to receive what eye has not seen, nor ear has heard, nor has entered into the heart of man, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
