DAY 225 – ALLOW GOD TO ENJOY YOU

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2)

God wants us to offer ourselves as living sacrifices daily. Willingly abandoning our own desires and ambitions – to follow Him. Putting all our energy and resources before Him and trusting Him to guide and use us.

The original translation of “living sacrifice” is “life and time”. God wants us to offer our lives and time before Him daily. We do this because we love Him, and out of gratitude that our sins have been forgiven. God loves us and He has perfect plans for us. Let us seek to have renewed minds; living to honour and obey Him. God wants only what is best for us, that is why He gave His Son to make our new life possible. We should joyfully give ourselves as living sacrifices for His service. Allow God to enjoy your life without limits, because He bought you for a high price. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Prayer
Thank You Father, for the life You have given me.  I give it back to You. I will serve You with all my life and strength. I offer my life and time as a heartily sacrifice. I stop to limit You and let You into my life to enjoy me because You paid for me, and I know beyond a shadow of doubt that You love me. I surrender my life to You completely, without any reservations. I am Yours always, use me and enjoy me according to Your will. Amen.
