DAY 224 – RECEIVE IT ALL BY FAITH

“For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. For Moses writes about the righteousness which is of the law, “The man who does those things shall live by them.” (Romans 10:3-5)

Instead of living by faith in God, and believing in the finished work of Christ, people have established customs and traditions trying to make themselves acceptable in God’s sight. But human effort, no matter how sincere it is, can never substitute for the righteousness God offers us by faith.

The only way to earn salvation is to be perfect, and that is impossible without faith in Jesus and His finished work of the cross. Man can only receive salvation by spreading out empty hands, in order to receive salvation as a gift. Spread out your empty hands today and open up your heart before your Heavenly Father and receive; healing, provision, breakthrough, power to succeed in every area of life, open doors – and start to enjoy the abiding presence of God.

It is by faith alone. You do not have to behave a certain way to receive these things. No. You just have to believe and receive whatever God has for you. Because you are born-again, you are already living eternal life – nothing missing, and nothing broken.

Begin to enjoy your everyday life with God. Do not go back in the law, because Jesus fulfilled it on your behalf. Jesus is Lord! 

Thanksgiving Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You, for Your righteousness. Thank You, for bringing me back to Your family of the righteous. Like David said; “I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread”. I spread my hands and my heart wide open before You, my dear Father. I receive all that You have in store for me. I receive it all by faith. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
