DAY 221 – YOU HAVE A NEW LIFE
By Pastor Wilberforce Bezudde
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)
Our old man was crucified with Christ. God looks at us as if we had died with Christ. Because, our sins died with Him, we are no longer condemned. The Bible informs us, that God made us alive together with Jesus; He forgave all our trespasses, He wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us and He disarmed principalities and powers.
Brothers and sisters, Jesus did not only forgive our sins, but He also overcame the devil on our behalf. No devil, no evil power, no sickness, no poverty, no power of sin and infirmity can overcome the new man because Christ triumphed over them all. We have become one with Christ, and his experiences are ours. He is in us and we are in Him. We died to our old life and we are alive to God. Jesus is Lord!
Thanksgiving Prayer
Dear Father,
Thank You, for the new everlasting and victorious life. Thank You, for every new experience and for the life I enjoy in the Spirit. I am victorious over sin, sickness, poverty and over all evil forces. Every obstacle which hinders me from experiencing the presence of God, has been removed. I am alive to God. Hallelujah! Amen!
(Study Colossians 2:13-15).
