DAY 214 – THANK HIM IN ADVANCE

By Pastor Wilberforce Bezudde

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

Effective prayer is when a man rejoices in truth. A place of prayer that produces peaceable results is not a place where a person worries, mourns, or has a begging attitude; but rather with thanksgiving. The Bible says; “with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God”. The desire you have in your heart is already an answered prayer.

Psalm 37:4 says; “Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart”.

Psalm 20:4 says; “May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, And fulfill all your purpose”.

When we pray, we thank God in advance for what is already ours, we do not request for what is already ours. The desire you have in your heart is proof that it is already yours. Jesus is Lord!

Thanksgiving Prayer
Thank You Lord, for all my heart’s desires are granted. Thank You, for every good thing I meditate upon. Thank You, for the truth. Thank You, for everything noble, excellent, perfect, just, pure, lovely, every good report, and for everything praiseworthy. Amen!
