DAY 208 – DO NOT GIVE UP

“being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” (Philippians 1:6)

God’s good work for us began when Christ died on the cross in our place. When we believed in Christ, God’s good work within us began. This precious work within us continues throughout the believer’s lifetime to eternity.

John 3:16 says; “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life”.

Today, God the Father and the Son live within us, by the Holy Spirit, enabling us to live a supernatural lifestyle on this earth.

Do you sometimes feel as though you are not making progress in your life? Do not give up. God is growing you from grace to grace. When you are discouraged, remember that God will not give up on you. He promises to finish the work He has begun. When you feel incomplete, unfinished, or distressed by your shortcomings – remember God’s promise and provision. Do not let your present condition rob you of the joy of knowing Christ or keep you from growing closer to Him. Jesus is Lord!

Thanksgiving Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You, for the good work you began in my life. I am not afraid; I am confident of Your word. Thank You, for Your love, protection and provision. I am a winner in this world. Amen!
