DAY 199 – HAVE A FREE SPIRIT

“By pride comes nothing but strife, But with the well-advised is wisdom.” (Proverbs 13:10)

Arrogance stirs up conflicts. You will never find harmony or peace where the spirit of pride is nurtured. Pride brings pain, regrets in life, and kills dreams and purpose. We cannot accomplish our life’s work with strife in our hearts.

God has already blessed us with every spiritual blessing, if you are not experiencing these blessings yet, check your heart and see if you have a free spirit. Maybe that is why you are not experiencing God’s best, yet.

If you want to succeed in life, you must have a free spirit. If you find yourself constantly offended, heavy in your heart, arguing, restless and so forth; please, examine your life for pride. Be open to the advice of others, ask for help when you need it, and be willing to admit your mistakes.

James 4:6 says; “But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble”. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Prayer
Dear Holy Spirit,

Help me to change. Show me the areas in my life that need transformation. I flush out every wrong thinking and bad attitude towards life and people. Open the eyes of my understanding to see God’s best in every situation. Create in me a new spirit, and help me walk in the newness of life, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
