DAY 198 – LIVING FAITH

By Pastor Wilberforce Bezudde

“Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” (James 2:17 & 26)

If you take the spirit out of the body, you will have a dead body. If you take actions out of your faith, you will have dead faith. Dead faith is the faith that a man has but he is not using it, in other words it is the faith that is dormant –not being used by the person who abstains it. Such faith does not produce results. Every believer has been given the faith of Jesus, but not every believer with the faith of Jesus has put it to work.

In James 2:17, however, the reverse of the statement is really true; actions without the faith of Jesus means that no living faith is present. No matter how hard it may be for some people to accept, actions without the faith of Jesus are not Biblical and profit nothing.

Let your actions correspond with what you believe. The secret of dynamic faith is putting your faith into action. Living faith is always manifested in the outward obedient positive faith-actions. The outward faith-actions correspond exactly with the faith happening internally, to produce visible supernatural manifestations. Jesus is Lord!

Thanksgiving Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You, for Your faith. I have received the measure of Your faith. The same faith You had while You walked on this earth, is the same measure of faith I have received from You. I will operate in dynamic faith, with visible supernatural manifestations. Amen!
