DAY 193 – YOU HAVE RECEIVED LIGHT

“the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.” (Ephesians 1:18-19)

The first effect of the Spirit of God moving in the new creation is “Having the eye of the heart enlightened”.

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:10; “But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God”. It is Spiritual light that brings life.

John 1:4-5 says; “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”

The eye of the heart is the faculty of knowing the core of life, the fountain of thoughts, and where vision is birthed. The eye of the heart symbolizes spiritual intelligence. When we receive Christ and yield to His Spirit, He illuminates us and gives us spiritual intelligence.   

John 8:12 says; ‘Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”’ Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Prayer
Dear Father of Glory,

I yield my heart to Your light. Open my eyes and give me inward vision, knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. Make me spiritually intelligent. Show me the deep things of Your heart and teach me to walk in the light of life. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
