DAY 186 – YOU ARE IMPORTANT

“Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother, To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all who in every place call on the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 1:1-3)

Apostle Paul writes to the church of Corinth, and he introduces himself as an apostle called of Jesus Christ through the will of God. Paul was given a special calling from God to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Each believer has a calling and gifts necessary for their contribution to spread the message of our Lord Jesus Christ. Some gifts and callings may look more spectacular than others, but all are needed to carry out God’s plan in the church and the great commission in the world. Everyone is important, and every calling and gift is as important.

God called you and gifted you for a higher purpose in life. Be available to God by bringing your gifts at his service. All gifts are given to lead humanity to the unconditional love and grace of God. You are very important to the Kingdom of God. Be ready to be used by God in a very special way. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Prayer
Dear Lord,
Thank You, for calling me out as Your servant and for the gifts I have on the inside. Holy Spirit place me in the right area where I can serve effectively. Create in me a servant’s heart. Give me a different spirit and help me have the right attitude in serving. I want to be a blessing to humanity. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
