DAY 166 – OUR CURRENT CONDITION IN JESUS CHRIST

“And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.” (1 Corinthians 6:11)

Apostle Paul teaches about how God made believers new people. The three aspects of God’s divine work are all part of our salvation:

1. Our sins were washed away. Believers were washed clean and purified by a complete sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We are made free from the guilt of sin.

2. We were sanctified, made holy, consecrated, set apart for Holy use only.

3. We have been justified and made right with God.

Apostle Paul’s teaching show us our current condition. This condition is not past or future, but present. This is who we are. This is our identity. Praise be to our loving Father. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Confession
I am a brand-new person. The blood of Jesus washed my sins away, I am cleansed, purified, and complete in Jesus Christ. I am made holy and kept in Jesus Christ. I am walking in the power and authority of Jesus Christ. As He is so am I in this world. Amen.
