DAY 163 – YOU ARE GOD’S CHOICE

“(for the children not yet being born, nor having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who calls),” (Romans 9:11)

The Jews were proud of their heritage, because of the fact that their lineage came from Isaac.

Apostle Paul teaches us that; we should not claim to be chosen by God because of our heritage, good deeds, or self-effort. The good deeds of our forefathers have nothing to do with our salvation. God freely chooses to save whoever He wills. The subject of election teaches that it is God’s sovereign choice to save us by His grace and mercy, not by our heritage, efforts, or merit. God’s choice for us is not based on what we have done or what we would do in the days to come, but entirely based on His goodness. Jesus is Lord!

Blessed Father,

Thank You, for Your love. You loved me before I loved You. Thank You, for coming to my world of brokenness. Thank You, for changing me into Your best. I receive every heavenly blessing in Christ. I receive everything connected to righteousness. I am chosen, blessed and highly favoured. Amen!
