DAY 161 – YOU ARE VICTORIOUS

“So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “death is swallowed up in victory.” “o death, where is your sting? O hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 15:54-57)

Today we pray for a wave of hope to sweep over us. We come against the spirit of hopelessness in the name of Jesus. The spirit of hopelessness has overwhelmed so many people and left them at a cross road in confusion. That is not your portion, in Jesus’ Name!

The power of sin, death, fear, rejection, hopelessness, diseases, barrenness and poverty have been swallowed up in victory. Satan seems to be victorious sometimes, like it was in the Garden of Eden and at the cross of Jesus. But God turns Satan’s apparent victory into defeat by the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Jesus overcame the devil on our behalf and now God has raised us with this same Christ and seated us with Him in the Heavenly realms.

We are now seated in the position of authority to manifest the manifold wisdom of God. Let us believe to see a greater manifestation of God’s love. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Confession
Thank You, Holy Spirit for overwhelming me with hope and love. My hope is in Jesus Christ. My life is secure in Him. I am accepted, I belong, and I am fruitful in the Kingdom. I have victory over sin, death, fear, rejection, hopelessness, diseases, barrenness, and poverty. I am walking in a higher manifestation of God’s love and grace. Amen.
