DAY 159 – YOU ARE SECURE IN CHRIST

“As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12)

East and west are very far from each other and can never meet at any point. This is a symbolic picture showing God’s forgiveness. When He forgave us of our sin, He separated it from us and does not even remember it.

Some people are stuck to the message of the Old Testament in Deuteronomy 5:9 and Numbers 14:18, that God passes the sins of parents on the children to the third and fourth generation, forgetting the message of the New Testament in Hebrews 8:6-13, that God will remember our sins no more.

The truth is; the blood of Jesus has already removed all our sins. It is not dependent on whether you have asked Him to forgive you of all your sins or not. The truth is, God provided salvation for the entire human race, by grace. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You, for Your blood. I believe all my sin is removed by your sacrifice. I have been recreated. I have a new identity. Your Spirit has sealed me. I am secure in Your everlasting unconditional love and grace. Amen
