DAY 156 – GOD’S GOODNESS AND MERCY IS WITH YOU

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” (Psalm 23:6)

Be confident in God’s daily supply of goodness. Goodness is God’s blessing and favour that comes to you, just because you are His. What you expect, you will receive. So, expect His goodness to follow you, provide for you, protect you, and promote you. Live by faith in the goodness of God and each day be expectant, excited, and grateful as you see the evidence of God’s goodness in your life.  

His mercy comes through when you are weakened by your efforts, when you fail by your mistakes, and when you humbly ask for His forgiveness and mercy. His mercies are new every morning; compassionate when you fail, and great in faithfulness. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Confession
Goodness and mercy flow to me everywhere I go, to help me to soar above every storm. I am not alone. God Himself surrounds me. I am not afraid, for He is with me always. I am loved and highly favoured. Amen.
