DAY 150 – YOUR NEW IDENTITY IN CHRIST

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)


The phrase, “in Christ”, is always used referring to living in vital union with Christ, or in the same realm with Christ. Once that happens, you become a new creation. Christians are brand new people on the inside, we are not reformed, rehabilitated or re-educated. We are recreated (we are a new creation) living in vital union with Christ.

This verse is not talking about a physical change; the change that takes place is Spiritual. Our spirit man is the part of us that gets recreated in Christ. You are brand new, it is as though you have never committed a sin. Allow this revelation to empower you, to manifest Christ through your everyday life. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Prayer
Heavenly Father,

Thank You, for the privilege of being identified with You. The hunger for the Gospel and Your Kingdom consumes my entire being. My new identity is hidden in You. Thank You, for calling me to change people’s lives with the Gospel message, in Jesus Name. Amen.
