DAY 148 – GRACE OVERCOMES SIN

“Therefore, do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.”
(Romans 6:12-14)

Now that you are in Christ and He is King over your life, you should no longer be driven by the law or bossed around by the power of sin. Do not allow sin to take you out of the love walk to use you as an instrument of wickedness. Present the members of your body as a living sacrifice to God as a true worshiper. Christ desires to use the life He paid for. When a person walks in the Spirit, he overcomes sin. Walking in the Spirit is walking in truth. When a person walks under the law, sin will have dominion and will increase its power over that person. When a person walks under grace; grace overpowers sin. Sin no longer has dominion over us because we are no longer under the law, but under grace. Hallelujah! Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Confession
Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You, for Your unconditional love and grace. Jesus, You are King over my life. I am love driven not law driven. I am established in the love walk. Father, thank You for the increase of grace upon my life. Sin has no dominion over me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
