DAY 145 – SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCES TOO

“For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty. For He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” And we heard this voice which came from heaven when we were with Him on the holy mountain.” (2 Peter 1:16-18)

Peter is talking about the transfiguration – where Jesus’ divine identity was manifested to him, James, and John; according to Mathew 17:1-8; Mark 9:2-8; and Luke 9:28-36

Peter and the other disciples were not preaching and teaching from hearsay, they did not acquire the knowledge of Christ from another person but received direct knowledge. They were eyewitnesses of the glory of His majesty and whatever He did and said.

The scriptures we read are not a collection of tales and human ideas; there is power in the word of God, and anyone can experience it if she or he hears it and believes it.

Brothers and sisters, when we share the word with others, let us share our testimonies, encounters and experiences with God. Share with people what God has done in your life, share your best with them. Be bold and help people to experience the same power. Do not be ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God to salvation (deliverance). Jesus is Lord!

Dear Father,

I thank You, for the flame of Your love and passion that burns within me for Your word. Send your fire upon me to share Your gospel with everyone. Thank You, for greater opportunities to share Your word with people. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
