DAY 144 – WE ARE CHOSEN BY GRACE

As He says also in Hosea: “I will call them my people, who were not my people, and her beloved, who was not beloved.” “and it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them, ‘you are not my people,’ there they shall be called sons of the living god.”’ (Romans 9:25-26)

About seven hundred years before Jesus’ birth, Hosea prophesied God’s intention to restore His people. Apostle Paul applies Hosea’s prophesy to God’s intention; to bring Gentiles (you and I who are not Jews by flesh) into His family after the Jews rejected His saving plan. This shows how much God has loved us; the Gentiles. We are surely saved by His grace. We were not Abraham’s descendants, we did not receive the law and the promise like the Jews, but God just chose us to be His own people.

Through the seed of Abraham (Jesus), we have become descendants of Abraham and the children of promise. We are now entitled to all the promises of Abraham. We are now blessed with every Spiritual blessing. Praise God!

Thanksgiving Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You, for choosing us to become part of Your family. Thank You, for saving us who did not deserve to be saved. We are now the seed of Abraham, Your own children, and the children of promise. We receive all the blessings of our father Abraham, such as knowing You, divine health, children, peace, joy, and wealth. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
