DAY 138 – MANIFESTING CHRIST
By Pastor Wilberforce Bezudde
“who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” (Galatians 1:4-5)
The Lamb of God was offered before the foundations of the world. God’s divine plan all along, was to save us by the death of His Son – Jesus Christ.
We have now been rescued from the power of this present evil world, a world that is ruled by Satan and full of all manner of evil, temptation, and deception. We have been rescued from this present evil world and yet we are not taken out of it, but we are no longer slaves to it. We are saved to live for God and serve God not this evil world. Therefore, our lives should reflect Jesus, and a high quality of gratitude for being rescued from this evil world.
Jesus prayed in John 17:15 -16, that we should not be removed from this world, but that we should be kept from the evil one, and then he said in verse 16; “They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.”
Today’s Prayer
Dear Holy Spirit,
Lead me to live a life that pleases God and reflects Christ. I cannot do this in my own ability. I transfer my loyalty from the things of this world to Christ alone. Help me develop a face-to-face relationship with Jesus, and manifest Him in this world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
