DAY 134 – JESUS CHRIST IS THE ATONING SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS (yes)

“And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.” (1 John 2:2)


Jesus Chris, is the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Christ is our defence attorney. He stands before God as our mediator; His death satisfied the wrath of God against sin and paid the death penalty for our sin – once and for all time.

Christ satisfied God’s requirement and removed our sin. He became the sin offering, by which we have been made perfect in God’s sight. At the same time, we are progressively cleansed and set apart for His special use. In Him we are already forgiven and made forever perfect.

As humans, we all know, that sometimes it is difficult to forgive those who wrong us. Imagine, how hard it would be, to forgive all people, no matter what they have wronged you! This is what God has done in Jesus. No sin that has been committed, is beyond forgiveness. All we need to do is turn to Jesus, believe in His finished work and receive forgiveness, and commit our lives to Him. Jesus is Lord!
 
Today’s Prayer
Dear Lord Jesus,

Thank You, for Your unconditional love and grace. Thank You, for becoming the atoning sacrifice. Now I know that I am perfect in God’s sight. Holy Spirit open the eyes of my heart, to understand all the mysteries of salvation. Take me deeper in the things of God, to walk in His full wisdom. Teach me, that I may manifest Christ on this earth. Bless me this day and let every Spiritual blessing manifest in my life and those around me. Amen!
