DAY 128 – LIFE IN THE SPIRIT (yes)

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” (Romans 8:2)

The Spirit of life or the life-giving Spirit is actually the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus.

The Holy Spirit was present at the creation of the world, according to Genesis 1:2. He is also the very one behind the rebirth of every believer. The Holy Spirit gives us the power to live and walk a Christian life on earth. We are so privileged to have the Holy Spirit.

He first became available to all believers at the Pentecost, according to Acts 2. Whereas, in the Old Testament dispensation, the Holy Spirit only empowered specific individuals for specific assignments. However, this New Testament dispensation, all believers have the Holy Spirit available to them.

What a privilege we have! He is at work in our lives and has set us free from the law of sin and death. Hallelujah. Jesus is Lord!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You so much for Your Holy Spirit. You dwell in me, and live in me, through Your Spirit. You said, You would not leave me an orphan. Thank You Jesus for loving me. I will live with You always. Amen.
