DAY 116 – YOU ARE PERMANENTLY FORGIVEN

Whereas this One [Christ], after He had offered a single sacrifice for our sins [that shall avail] for all time, sat down at the right hand of God, 14For by a single offering He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy. (Hebrews 10:12 & 14 – AMP)

The perfection that comes from Jesus’s sacrifice has no end even though those who have been made perfect still have their bodies and souls in the process of transformation.

What makes us perfect is not what we do, but what Jesus did on our behalf.

Righteousness is not by human performance it’s by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. We have received His perfection and righteousness by unmerited favour. We did not deserve it, it is purely by grace. His unlimited perfection cannot be stained by the imperfection of our souls, if we continuously believe in his finished work on the cross. If we put our faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work, we can be confident that sins in our past, our present, and our future, are permanently forgiven.

All your sins were taken care of before you existed.

Don’t try to act a certain way, just yield yourself to the transforming grace of God.

Hallelujah! Jesus is Lord!

Today’s prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for your perfection. You forgave all my sins before I existed.
I am permanently forgiven. The devil cannot accuse me anymore. Am free from the accuser’s charges and condemnation I’m completely cleansed and perfected by your sacrifice. I’m forever consecrated and made holy. This is not by my human effort; it is by your unending grace.
