DAY 104 – YOU ARE A GIFT TO YOUR GENERATION

By Pastor Wilberforce Bezudde

Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. (Jeremiah 1:4-5)

God knew you, just like He knew Jeremiah. He called you as He called Jeremiah, long before you were conceived. You are not an accident. You are within the divine plan of God. You are given as a gift to this generation. When negative feelings come to discourage you and make you think that you are inadequate, remember that God qualified you before you were conceived. He put all the necessary power, skill, resources and qualifications inside of you to benefit your generation.

God has a great purpose for every believer. Don’t allow feelings of inadequacy to keep you from obeying the call of God upon your life.

Whatever thing you do should be done with excellence to the glory of God. Whatever thing He puts in your hands to do, accept it willingly and cheerfully and do it with due diligence.  So many people are called by God to specific areas or kinds of assignments, but be the one to follow God’s calling better and be remembered for your love for God and obedience.

 Hallelujah! Jesus is Lord!

A prayer for today:
Dear heavenly father,
Thank you for choosing me. I am so grateful to be your choice. I thank you for the power, all the skill, resources and qualifications you have put in my spirit man to bring glory to your Holy name in this generation. I refuse the feelings of inadequacy. I accept the call willingly and cheerfully. I commit my life to the call of God upon my life. I shall be remembered for obedience to God and for my love for God. Amen!
