“But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.” (1 Corinthians 1:27)

God has chosen you, not because you are so smart, wise, talented, rich, or because you have a great background. He chose you because He loves you and He wants to manifest His glory—through you. In most cases, God chooses the weak people of this world; the people that are despised. It is not because God is against people with money, education, talent, or ability. It is just that when people have it all in the natural, they tend to think they can do everything themselves, so they do not depend on God. They think things happen because of them. That is why most of the people who have made a difference are those who do not have a lot; because they are turning to God and seeking Him. Therefore, He can use them by His grace. Be among those who totally depend on God. Jesus is Lord!

Today’s Prayer

My Heavenly Father, I come to you with a humble heart. I put away all the pride I have had and turn to you to receive grace. I can do all things not by my strength, but by Your mighty power. I am chosen to bring You glory. I will go out every day to make things happen in this world. By Your grace I will bring You glory. I am chosen for greatness in this world, in Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
